The Centre for European Studies (CES) within Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iasi (Romania) is currently looking for partnership for the Horizon 2020 Programme, the line “Europe as a global actor”, topic The European Union and the Eastern Partnership, with deadline on May 2015:

Our main research interests are focused on “European Studies & Regional Development” with its enclosed research topics: Regional Disparities; Institutional Economics; International Specialization and Competitiveness; Tourism and regional development; Labour migration; Spatial Economics; European Politics & Policies; EU Foreign Affairs; Eastern Partnership.

Considering that we are placed in a peripheral economic area - North-East region of Romania (also at the EUs Eastern border) and that we already have institutional and research collaborations in other joint projects with universities/institutes from Ukraine and Republic of Moldova, this background could be a favourable context for cooperation in the Eastern part of EU as partner in the projects.
