Budget: Around 2 million Euro
Aim of TARGET: Contribute to the advancement of gender equality in research and innovation (R&I)
Scope: Support systematic institutional transformation by implementing tailored Gender Equality Plans (GEP) in research organisations in order to:

Remove barriers to the recruitment, retention and promotion of women

Address gender imbalances in decision-making

Strength the gender dimension in research and innovation content, including Higher Education curricula
Consortium:

6 organisations in countries relatively inactive in the field of gender equality in R&I will develop a GEP:

2 Research Funding Organisations in Romania and Cyprus

2 Universities in Serbia and Egypt

2 Other Research Performing Organisations in Greece and Turkey

Two supporting institutions from Italy and Spain and a pool of experts to facilitate institutional change

Coordinator and evaluator from Austria (Institute of Higher Studies)
