Στο πλαίσιο της ΔΕΘ η Αμερικάνικη Πρεσβεία και το Found.ation διοργανώνουν ένα Innovation Bootcamp / educational hackathon κατά τη διάρκεια του οποίου φοιτητές και ερευνητές του ΑΠΘ όλων των επιστημονικών πεδίων μπορούν να λάβουν επιχειρηματική εκπαίδευση και καθοδήγηση για την εύρεση καινοτόμων λύσεων στους τομείς της Αγροτικής, Τουριστικής και Αστικής ανάπτυξης. Το πρόγραμμα αποτελεί μια μοναδική ευκαιρία εισαγωγής στον κόσμο της επιχειρηματικότητας για φοιτητές όλων των επιστημονικών πεδίων και θα υλοποιηθεί μεταξύ 12-15 Σεπτεμβρίου στους χώρους του ΟΚ!Thess και της ΔΕΘ. Το ΑΠΘ συμμετέχει στη δράση ως χορηγός επικοινωνίας.
Innovation Bootcamp - Business Engineering 101
12th -15th September 2018
In the context of the 2018 Thessaloniki International Fair (TIF) the US Embassy in collaboration with Found.ation will organize an Innovation Bootcamp / educational hackathon on agro, travel and urban tech for developers, designers, business developers and marketeers that will develop an idea over a short and intensive period of time. Each team has the freedom to innovate, working on a unique idea that can make a difference. The teams will be aided by mentors who will guide the creative and the development process throughout the bootcamp. On Saturday 15 September 2018, 10:00, the teams’ final pitch will take place at the theater stage in the US Pavilion and the judges will decide the winners, based on their progress.
Step 1 – Register your idea & team info until Tuesday 11th September 2018.
Step 2 – Evolve your idea based on innovative methodologies and with the support of experienced mentors, workshops and talks.
Step 3 – Pitch your idea in front of a judging committee and win enrollment in OK!Thess accelerator or 3 months of working space by Found.ation in Athens, up to 2.000 euros in Facebook ads coupon, premium Logitec hardware and above all knowledge.

In the context of the 2018 Thessaloniki International Fair (TIF) that takes place from 8th to 16th September the US Embassy in collaboration with Found.ation will organize a curated series of programs on innovation & technology. A collision of an Innovation hub, a conference and a bootcamp. The pop-up innovation platform is organized to celebrate the choice of U.S. to be the Honored Country at TIF 2018.
The 3 activations aim to promote the American innovation, technology, and start-up culture and to highlight the U.S. excellence on this field. The place where entrepreneurs-on-hold (aka first timers) get inspired, where technology talent is born, and where founders meet their investors and next partners.
